Green Super Food Juices- the best way to kick start your morning
Juicing and smoothies can be FUN and nutritious mixing and matching fruits and veggies. Green veggies are best!
Start simply: 1 apple, 1 stalk celery, 1 cup spinach, handful of parsley, 1/2 cup berries, 1 finger fresh ginger or tumeric
Add a bit of coconut water, plain water, or unsweetened almond milk
Blend until smooth- I like using my Vita Mixer or Nutri bullet to get all the nutrients and fiber
A delicious alternative without the meat
Pumpernickel, sour dough or sprouted grain bread, toasted
2-3 cooked beets sliced thin
1 ripe avocado, sliced
Optional: Goat cheese, manchego cheese or swiss cheese
Add sprouts if desired
Sauerkraut can be placed on sandwich or on the side
1-2 Cucumbers or Zucchini, sliced lengthwise
Optional Fillings: Hummus, Bruschetta, Olive tapenade
Dice Tomato or sundried tomatoes
Feta cheese or cream cheese
Julienne carrots, beets etc.
Roll it up and enjoy!
Featured in this dessert is a combination of diced
Mango, papaya, dragon fruit and kiwi.
Add some banana for sweetness
Top with Raspberries or blueberries
Serve in a clear glass to appease the eye and palate.
No added sugars necessary- raw honey optional.
